Born in Montreal (1960), Valerie Sloby is a Canadian visual artist. Her work has garnered international attention in public, corporate, and private collections. Capturing inspiration from the earth around us in every way – from people to the land and sky, she focuses on trying to ‘re-imagine’ the fragmented ‘re collection’ of childhood memories. Sloby vividly captures her memories and enjoys capturing and customizing memories for people who want to immortalize an image, an experience, a person in a history of their time.
